Parallax Shortlisted in BIMA Awards 2019
We’re excited to announce we’ve made the official shortlist for the prestigious BIMA Awards 2019. Selected from hundreds of other entries, our work has been shortlisted in two categories – Emerging Technologies and Websites & Apps.
In the first category, we’ve been recognised for our cutting-edge project with our client Lucy Zodion, a firm specialising in energy-efficient street lighting. We’ve developed a next-generation Internet-of-Things platform known as Ki, designed to turn street lighting infrastructure into an open ecosystem for smarter, greener and more responsive cities.
In the second category, we’ve been shortlisted for our work with Leeds Bradford Airport. As they embarked on a decade-long period of growth and transformation, we were brought on board to reinvent their entire digital brand identity, which included a responsive, user-friendly website to give them a solid foundation to continue their future evolution.
We’re incredibly honoured to be contenders in these highly competitive fields. We’re really proud of both projects – a lot of people across the agency with a variety of skills and disciplines have contributed to bringing them to life, and we have a great ongoing relationship with the teams at Lucy Zodion and Leeds Bradford Airport. We know we’re up against some absolutely stellar work from other agencies though, so at this stage it’s just a thrill to be shortlisted!
Hosted by the British Interactive Media Association, the BIMA Awards are an annual celebration of all things digital. They support and inspire the UK’s digital sector, encouraging them to push the limits of what’s possible. Earlier this year, our Technical Director James Hall was entered into the BIMA 100 Class of 2019 as a Trailblazer of Tech.
