We’re excited to announce the launch of the new website for Leeds Bradford Airport. As part of a major transformation of the business, both on and offline, we created a new digital brand identity and user friendly website giving them a platform to inspire travel and serve passengers.

A super fast and user-friendly website

We followed a UX design process which helped us deliver a website that effectively meets the demands of all user groups – from passengers to airline partners. Our research uncovered that performance was essential, especially with mobile traffic taking the majority of visits, many of which were used by passengers on their way to the airport. The website loads seriously quick and not only does it work efficiently from a users perspective, but the performance speed is also seriously fast.

Smarter architecture

We also uncovered the demands placed on their support staff, and with rising passenger numbers, we needed a better way to manage the way they handle customer support. The content and information architecture is designed to make it easy for visitors to find what they’re looking for. On top of this, we designed a new help centre with easy access to FAQs and guides.

The next phase

We’re now embarking on phase 2 of the project, improving the eCommerce performance to make it easier for new and returning customers to buy airport parking, lounges and fast-track.
