New Starter Spotlight: Sabrina Malana

Our tight-knit team is currently 22 strong and we’re happily growing. With some amazing additions to the group we’re bringing light to the most recent talent to take a seat at Parallax HQ.

Enter Sabrina Malana – digital designer by day, pop artist by night. Sabrina is a full time junior designer and a recent graduate from the University of Bolton. With an Animation and Illustration Live Brief Award under her belt and a friendly personality; Sabrina has quickly made a name for herself in the studio.

When away from Illustrator she’s making soulful beats on her acoustic guitar. Also a talented songstress, our newest digital designer often sings her heart out on personal Youtube channel; mSYNA2o (with just under 5,000 followers). If this wasn’t enough, Sabrina regularly picks up freelance jobs and collaborates on commissions with Uni classmates.

“I’m a natural busy bee, I like to keep working even on my days off as it keeps me inspired. Unwind time takes place at a reservoir near my house – there’s something so calming about looking at a body of water.”

At Parallax, she loves creating slick website assets and content marketing pieces with the design team. Her most recent favourite was an illustration-based infographic which we will be shouting about very soon.

Every creative starts their day off differently, get inspired with Sabrina’s morning routine:

6:00 am: wake up
6:30 am: meditate
7:15 am: shower and dress
7:30 am: have breakfast (maybe)
7:45 am: huddle off to take the train from Manchester to Parallax
