AWS Leeds User Group #3
This week we’re holding our third Amazon Web Services user group in Leeds here at the Parallax office. Why not come along and join us?

Following on from October’s successful event where we had Ian Massingham from AWS and Josh Nesbitt from Hey Stac speaking, we’ll be moving on to our next topic.
The final meet up for the year will be based around SCALE as December tends to bring variable workloads and unpredictable load demands throughout the festive season.
Speakers this time include Wes from Reconnix who’ll be running us through how they ramp up their AWS usage to support music launches, alongside David from Amplience talking about scale on EC2 using autoscaling and ELB. We’ll also have Ian from AWS once again who’ll be giving us a recap of everything that came out of re:Invent 2014. If you want to know everything that’s come out of this years Las Vegas event, then you don’t want to miss out on this.
As usual, we’ll have a variety of food out for everyone, as well as beer from Bar Parallax.
