Parallax's James Hall to speak at Beyond Tellerrand in Berlin

Following successful talks at previous events, we’re delighted to announce that our very own James Hall has been invited to speak at the now sold-out Beyond Tellerrand conference in Berlin this November.

Held from the 3rd-5th of November, the event features fantastic talks about design, technology, and inspiration as well as full-day workshops with some of the brightest talents in the web design and development industry. The majority of the talks will be held at the beautiful Admiralspalast, originally built in 1889 in the grounds of the former Admiral’s Quarters and features two theatres. Workshops will be held at the ClubOffice venue, a well-known space in Berlin for coworking and team offices, that’s located in the Technology and Innovation Park Berlin.

Alongside James, key speakers include Jon Hicks, who’s known for his work on the Spotify iconography as well as Mailchimp, Firefox and Skype, Stefan Sagmeister who’s worked for HBO, the Rolling Stones, and the Guggenheim Museum, as well as a whole host of other talent including Tim Kadlec, Jonathan Hoefler, and Stacey Mulcahy.

James is going to be bringing his security talk to Berlin called “Security is Everyone’s Responsibility”. Following success with it in Leeds at Hey!Stac and Internet World in London, he’s taking it to Germany to talk about the state of website security today, the dangers of wireless networking, common flaws, and how we can all improve security for our customers.

The team here at Parallax are super excited for James and we can’t wait to see how it goes down. Check out the Beyond Tellerrand website to read all about it.
