Award Winning Little Kelham
Here at Parallax we love working with winners. Over the past year we’ve had the pleasure of working with the super successful Yorkshire County Cricket Club and the Guardian Observer award winning Keelham Farm Shop. Last November, we worked together with Thompson Brand Partners to launch a website for Sheffield-based property development Little Kelham, and we’re incredibly excited to see them recognised and pick up awards.
Little Kelham is a housing development in Sheffield that’s been built using sustainable materials and low-carbon specifications. It brings 150 apartments to Sheffield, as well as a selection of creative spaces, galleries, shops and cafés. Built by Citu who are no strangers to winning awards, it’s one of the most exciting property developments in the North.
Citu are now the only UK developer to be building passive houses on a commercial scale, removing the need for central heating due to their excellent insulation and design, saving homeowners a vast amount of money on annual heating bills.
Things really started to pick up for Little Kelham back in April with Citu winning the ‘Built Environment’ category at the Yorkshire Post Environment Awards. This led to recognition at the UK Property Marketing Awards in London, where they won both the Best Marketing Campaign for Residential New Build and the prestigious Grand Prix for the best entry in the whole award scheme.
May saw Little Kelham win another award at the Guardian Sustainable Business Awards, picked as the winner of the Built Environment category once again. Not only that, they’ve also been nominated for the Specialist Property Company of the Year at the Estates Gazette Awards so further success could be on the horizon.
As a digital agency, it’s an absolute pleasure to see our clients winning awards. We’re really proud that we could work alongside Thompson Brand Partners to create a website that really shows off what Little Kelham offers. With heavily embedded news, Instagram style images, social media and an interactive map that allows you to learn more about the properties and which are available to buy, it’s proved to be a big success.
We’ve had a lot of positive feedback about the interactive SVG map that we created for Little Kelham so our very own Andy Fitch has put together a guide on how to create one. If you’re a developer, or are just curious about how it works, head over there and take a look.
