Rob and Amit Join The Parallax Team
After a few of the busiest few months we’ve ever had working on some of our largest projects to date, it’s an absolute pleasure to introduce a few new faces here at Parallax.
We’re over the moon to welcome both Rob and Amit to the front-end development team.
Rob Matwiejczyk
Rob joins Parallax from a Leeds-based digital agency and we’re really happy to have him on board. After starting out with a keen passion in design, Rob began dabbling with code and realised that’s the direction he wanted to take. Since then, he’s gathered a whole of host experience along the way, including working on the EE website, and is constantly looking at ways to improve UI.
“I’m really happy to have joined the team here at Parallax. I actually bumped into Lawrence seven years ago at a bus stop in York, little did we know that we’d be working together in the future. Parallax have some interesting projects for me to get stuck into, and i’m interested in focussing on CSS architecture and optimising page load speeds, a vital aspect of modern web development due to the ever-increasing mobile device market.”
Amit Singh
Amit is also joining us from another digital agency in Leeds, bringing a wealth of experience to the team. Similar to Rob, Amit originally focussed on design and artworking following university, but over time entered the world of development, with interests in social and UX.
“I first met some of the Parallax guys back when they were known as Snapshot Media at a five-a-side league final and I knew it wouldn’t be the last time we’d meet. The team here is fantastic and I’m really excited to be working on some amazing projects already.”
