Parallax's Lawrence and James To Speak At Internet World 2014 Conference

We’re really excited to announce that Parallax’s very own James Hall and Lawrence Dudley will be speaking at the Internet World 2014 conference this June.

Held annually at the ExCel in London, Internet World is a conference that unites thousands of IT, technology and digital marketing professionals to discover cutting-edge technology innovations and strategies to drive their organisation’s success.

As part of London Technology week, Internet World brings together business leaders, IT specialists, developers, technical experts and digital marketing folk together to talk about the latest solutions, trends, and opportunities in the digital industry. With keynotes from BBC, Eventbrite, Virgin Media, IBM and many more, it has an impressive lineup, alongside hundreds of other business exhibitions.

Lawrence and James will be speaking about security, in particular SSL (HTTPS) and how it has multiple flaws. They’ll be explaining how it’s possible to snoop and intercept traffic online, whilst demoing live how simple it is to watch somebody log into their online banking and see the information that they’re inputting. Scary stuff.

This is a first for our digital agency and we’re over the moon and incredibly proud that they’ve been chosen to speak at the event.
