Parallax Launch Diddy Cool Website

We have launched a website for some of our coolest customers so far!

Diddy Cool are a new company based in Yorkshire that sell their own handmade ice cream and cookies from a vintage truck. Customers can order deliveries by text or on the website and they can even book one of the Diddy Cool Trucks to come to their event.

Josh Caudwell, a local freelance photographer, designed the site’s background and took the product images for the website and we think he did a fantastic job.

Our designer Simon designed the site and explains ‘Diddy Cool have quite a wide product range and so we built a page that clearly shows which are available for home delivery and which are available at events. Josh’s images are great and really showcase the delicious products Diddy Cool offer.

‘My other favourite feature is the link with their Twitter page. Visitors to their website can easily see what the drivers on the Diddy Cool Trucks are tweeting, whether that’s a delivery route in their local area or pictures from an event or festival that they’re at. This was certainly a sweet project to work on!’

Our copywriter Lola wrote the content for the website and says ‘this has definitely been a unique project to write for. I think writing the ice cream flavour descriptions was my favourite part because it allowed me to have a little fun with the names and ingredients. The Diddy Cool team are really passionate about the quality and traceability of their products as well as doing their bit to save the environment, and so getting to meet them and see that passion made the site really easy to write for. It was important that the copy on the site appeals to young people and I wanted to do that with a dollop of humour.’

The Diddy Cool Trucks have already started their deliveries across Yorkshire and we hope that their new website will provide their customers with the perfect platform to find out all about their quality desserts while being able to book their services quickly and easily. In fact, the Parallax team are planning their first order right now…
